Safety Operating Procedure For Vessels

Under the Shipping Act of 1998, all vessels under 24 meters long working in or from Jamaican waters, are needed to be authorized. For the vessel to be authorized it should be enlisted by the GMA.



Vessels working as business vessels like business fishing, watersports, Entertainment, and passing on of travelers, are needed to have wellbeing reviews directed every year, while exclusive vessels, for example, yachts and sports anglers are needed to have security investigations led like clockwork.

No boat or vessel authorized under or needed to be authorized by the Harbor Rules will be in progress in any harbor or in the channel moves toward thereto except if the boat administrator is in the ownership of a public declaration of capability and capability to as given by the Maritime Authority of Grenada. The Maritime Authority of Grenada will give confirmed vessel and boat administrator analysts all at once of common comfort.
